Senior Pastor Jacob LaBounty
Pastor Jacob has been the Senior Pastor at Zion since 2014 and before that, he was serving as the interim-youth Pastor at Zion. He is a graduate of Southwestern Michigan College, Indiana University and Bethel College. Pastor Jacob has also completed the Institute of Biblical Counseling and Discipleship training. He loves to see people come to know Jesus Christ and to grow in maturity in the Lord. Pastor Jacob has a wonderful wife named Sarah and four girls and one boy.
Pastor Jacob enjoys spending time with his family, playing games with friends, and learning new things.
Youth Pastor Aaron Grosse

Pastor Aaron was born and raised in New Paris, Indiana and grew up in a Christian family. He majored in Youth Ministry at Bethel College and is a published author. Pastor Aaron and his beautiful wife Kelli have been married since 2016. They have two adorable little beagles. Pastor Aaron has a passion for youth, leading them to Christ and discipling them as they grow.
Pastor Aaron has a special love for music and also enjoys carpentry, outdoors and being with the ones he loves.
Worship Director Michelle Troyer
Michelle grew up here at Zion Missionary Church and is now raising her family here. She has four wonderful children and a great husband named Dylan. Michelle has been working at Zion since 2018 as worship leader. She is a graduate of Concord High School.

Michelle enjoys sleeping when her kids do not wake her up, strolling the aisles of the grocery store, doing photography (seriously, check out her work!), and spending quality time with her amazing family and friends.
Secretary & Children's Ministry Director Patty Yaw

Patty and her husband Kerry have been married over 30 years now. They have two wonderful adult children that they adopted from Vietnam when they were infants. Both their daughter, Amanda, and son, Joseph are in their 20s and attending college. Patty and Kerry have attended Zion for over 20 years now. Over those years, Patty has enjoyed teaching various children's classes. She has such a beautiful gift for teaching children about the love of Jesus.
In high school Patty majored in Secretarial and Accounting courses. Later, Patty took Computer Science and Intro-to-Nursing classes at Southwestern Michigan College. Patty worked as a certified nursing assistant for 8 years. She also worked as a pastry baker for several years and then moved on to be a certified teacher's assistant for about 14 years.
In Patty's spare time she enjoys baking, going on walks and reading. As a family, they enjoy going out to eat, traveling and sight-seeing.
Jail Ministry Pastor Tom Parsons

Tom and his wife Tammy were married in 2019 and they each have a deep passion and desire to see Christ glorified. Tom was licensed by a missionary licensing agency so that he would be better equipped to reach and support the men and their families who are in the Elkhart County Jail. Tom has been serving as an assistant chaplain and has had the opportunity to be used by the Lord to lead many men to Christ and to see them baptized.

Tom studied at Goshen College and is a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School.

In Tom's spare time he enjoys wearing his sandals and teasing his wife. He also enjoys playing the piano and worship the Lord.
